Field Trip

February 17, 2012

How’s it going everybody?  Three weeks until Spring Break!  Until then, we’ve got some exciting members events coming up.

Monday, February 20, 12-1:30 PM, COBA 609:

Si Java II: Stressing about the first test?  Don’t!  Join us for a test review lead by officers who have been through these things before.  There will be food.

Tuesday, February 21, 1-2:30 PM:

Data Center Tour: Ever wondered what a real data center looks like?  Come find out.  We’ll be touring the UTA data center.  It isn’t on campus, so we’ll have to carpool.  The officers can carry a limited number, so if you want to ride with us RSVP with a quick email.  We’ll meet in front of the business advising office on the first floor of COBA.

Wednesday, February 22, 4-5:30 PM, COBA 151:

Si Java I: Stuck on the second homework?  Get a helping hand, and get some answers.  We’ll have snacks as always.

Friday, February 24, 12-1:30 PM, COBA 609:

Si DBMS: Finding normalization highly abnormal?  Stop by and get it straight.  Snacks provided.

Not a member yet?  No big deal.  You can join at the door.  Details here.

Hey guys, we have a couple exciting events coming up this week for our members.

Wednesday:

11-Noon: We’re having our first Si Session for INSY 4315: Advanced Web Design. We’ll have some snacks so if you need help with your web project, stop by COBA 609.

Noon-1:30:  We’re having our second round of Si for INSY 4305: Java II.  We’ll be going over the second homework including the form construction, writing and reading the text files, and any other problems you might have.  We’ll be in the same spot as last time:  COBA 609.

Friday:

Noon-1: We’re excited to have Dr. Nerur teach a session about Python.  If you’re unfamiliar with it, Python is a interpreted programming language.  It’s used heavily in the gaming industry.  There will be free pizza so stop by.  We’ll be in COBA 154.
