On Friday, June 24^th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Facilities Management is requiring a water outage for Nedderman Hall, Science Hall & Earth and Environmental Science Building. This outage is to allow our contractor to make the final connection to our new campus water line loop in the Library Mall.  Facilities Management will be posting signage on the restroom doors directing students, staff and visitors to the Engineering  Lab Building during this outage.

The UC Market Expansion and renovation has started and will run until July 22^nd.  The renovation will include a new ceiling, lights, painting the walls, new flooring, new equipment in the space. The store is scheduled to reopen on July 25^th.  We have completed the demo phase of the project and will be working on getting all of the construction done by July 8^th.  All the equipment for the space will be installed between July 11^th and 22^nd.

Library 2nd Floor

The library 2nd floor renovation has started and will be going on until August 12^th.  We are renovating the whole floor including the ceiling, lights, painting, carpet and walls. We have removed everything off of the floor for abatement.  That will run from June 6^th to 17^th.  Construction build back will start on June 20^th.

Water Line Upgrade Project-Update

By working on Sunday, the contractor was able to complete the water line connections to all three buildings–Life Science, University Hall, and the Library.  The contractor will be completing Phase Two and the cleanup of the area on Tuesday and Wednesday.  The contractor is scheduled to start the final phase on Wednesday afternoon.  The final phase will take about three weeks and will close the pathway from the south parking lots to the center of campus.  The pathway from the south will remain open to University Hall and Life Science.  All pedestrian traffic coming from the south student lots and F-10 will be rerouted down Nedderman Drive to Planetarium Place to get to the center of campus.  Signage will be in place Wednesday morning to direct pedestrians.

There will be a water outage Sunday, June 12^th from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the Life Science, University Hall and Library Buildings.  The Library plans on remaining open with signage on the restrooms re-directing students to the Baker Building or Chemistry & Physics Building during this time period.   Facilities Management will have signage on the restrooms in both Life Science and University Hall.
