The Dallas Cowboys (6 – 2) will play The Arizona Cardinals (6 – 1) this Sunday afternoon @ AT&T stadium.

The game will kick off at 12 Noon and will air on KDFW/Fox channel 4.

Be aware of traffic congestion. The following streets will be affected by the event: Cooper, Collins, Randol Mill Road, Division, Ballpark Way, Nolan Ryan Expressway/Baird Farm Road, AT&T Parkway, I-30 East & West. AT&T Parkway has been closed for Pedestrian and Television Traffic between Randol Mill road & Division.

Expect Traffic issues to begin before the game around 10A when lane closures should begin.

  • Computer labs B & C will be closed for testing 2 times on monday, November 3. The closing details are listed below:

    Computer lab A will be open for general use during both sets of closings. We ask that you remain quiet during the tests.

    If you will be taking the tests, you will need to leave all hoodies, jackets, sweaters, backpacks, bookbags and sweaters in your classroom, locker or car.

  • The Playoff hunt has begun

    January 9th, AT&T stadium will host the College Football National Championship Game. The game will host the winners of the National SimiFinals from the Rose Bowl Game and the Sugar Bowl. The First Ranking have been released and have the current Playoff games below:

    Simi Final 1: #1 Mississippi State Bulldogs v. #4 Mississippi Rebels

    Simi Final 2: #2 Florida State Seminoles v. #3 Auburn Tigers

    The games will change and final pairings will be announced on December 7th.

  • On November 4th, Help TRI DELTA raise $60 Million for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

    St. Jude Children’s Hospital, founded by Actor Danny Thomas, Helps those families with young children who are fighting cancer. The Promise made by Danny Thomas helps provide a home and a place for those who need help and care.

    Join TRI DELTA as they work to help ST. Jude’s cause with a fundrasiser to raise money for the Hospital and Research.

    TRI DELTA will have a Pancake House on November 4th to raise donations. Tickets are $7 and can be purchased by asking a member of TRI DELTA or at the door on the day of the event.

    The event is at the TRI DELTA House located at 1101 Greek Row, Arlington TX and the times are from 6P to 10P

    Help raise a portion of $60 Million and help join a promise to help those children fight.

  • Come Join NCC as they fire up the grill for outdoor cooking. The group will be setting up to offer some of the favorites we all know and enjoy and a cool autumn day. the Menu will offer:

    Chips
    Hotdogs
    Burgers
    Cokes (the drink)
    and a Value Pack

    come visit the grill on November 5th out in the Library Mall from 10A to 2P.

  • All computer labs (A, B & C) will be closed for testing on October 30th for testing. The details are listed below:

    Computer Labs A, B & C
    8:30A to 2P
    AP Senior 2 Exit Exam R1

    The labs will reopen at 2P when the test has been completed. If you will need to print, you will need to visit other OIT student labs around the campus to do so.

    The LRC will be open for other services (equipment checkout, locker rental). You will need to remain quiet when entering the LRC during the testing period.

  • Microsoft has recently found a potential vulnerability in the Power Point program (a part of the Microsoft Office Suite). here is a link to the story about the vulnerability: Power Point

    At this time, Microsoft is sending out updates to patch the vulnerability. It is recommended that you run all windows updates for your computer. If you have the Microsoft Office Suite on a Mac OS X system, it is recommended that you run the Microsoft Office Updates.

    It is also recommended that you do not open any power point files from email senders that you do not know or recognize or power point files that you are not expecting to receive.

    Remember to turn your clocks BACK 1 HOUR on Saturday November 1. With the Time change, Sunset beginning on November 2nd will be at 5:37P, which will call for early darkness.

  • This Monday night, the Cowboys and Redskins will renew an age old rivalry as they play on Monday Night Football at AT&T Stadium.

    The Dallas Cowboys (6 – 1) will play The Washington Redskins (2 – 5) this Monday for the 106th time. the teams have combined to win 8 Super Bowls. The Cowboys lead the all time series 63 – 40 – 2.

    The game Kickoff will be at 7:25P and will air on ESPN.
