Below are the following locations were you can add money to your Mav ID Card.

1. The Central Library Mav ID Transaction Kiosk. Located between the Coffee Shop and the OIT Help Desk. Instructions on how to deposit money are on the Kiosk.

2. Access on the computer. The is a $1 convenience fee for the transaction. The amount you deposit is ready to use after you make the deposit.

Printing Costs for LRC Computer Labs

Beginning August 11, 2011, Printing for the campus will become Pay As You Go. You will be charged for each print job that you release in all computer labs on campus, including the LRC computer Labs.

The cost for printing in for all computer labs, including the LRC labs are:

Black and White Single Side: $.04 per page

Black and White Duplex (2-Side): $.06 per page

Beginning August 11, 2011, Printing using the Pharos Release System (card swipe), will become a pay as you go system. The $100 fund that were issues during the beginning of the fall semester will no longer take place. If you wish to print in either OIT or Departmental computer labs beginning August 11, you will need to deposit funds onto your Mav ID card.

To deposit funds onto your Mav ID card, do 1 of the following steps:

Option 1: Go to the MavMoney deposit kiosk on the first floor of the Central Library between the Coffee hut and the OIT help desk. You will need a Debit or Credit card to make a deposit.

Option 2: Go online to MavMoney to make a deposit. You will need to have a Debit or Credit Card to make a deposit.

With both options, your funds are instantly available when the deposit is made.

  • As of May 31, you will need to have your MavID card to release your print jobs in the LRC.

    The change is in line with the Change the campus will be making beginning August 11, 2011.

    If you do not have any funds on your MavID card for printing, you can add funds to your card at the following locations:

    1. At the MavID Kiosk located in the Central Library between the OIT Helpdesk and the coffee hut.
    2. Online at MavMoney. With a credit or debit card, you can deposit money to your MavID card online. There is a $1 convenience fee for this service.

  • If you are having issues viewing the VOD page in your web browser, contact the LRC for assistance.

    If you are Viewing the VOD page in Internet Explorer, you will need to turn off the “compatibility view” Function. This is located under the Tools Menu Option of Internet Explorer. If you do not find the compatibility View Option, check to see if you are running the Most current version of Internet Explorer. The current versions of IE are Internet Explorer 8 for Windows XP and Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Vista/7. Internet Explorer 9 is not compatible with Windows XP.

    If viewing the VOD page in Mozilla Firefox 4 or Apple Safari 5, uninstall the web browser and download a fresh copy from the web sites, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari, and reinstall the browser. Both browsers have been tested and work fine.

  • LRC Summer Hours

    Below are the Summer Hours of operation for the LRC:

    Monday to Saturday 8 AM to 5 PM
    Sundays we are closed.

    we will be posting closings for testing during the summer.

    Holiday closings for the Summer: July 4, 20011 (Monday)

    The New VOD page (click to access) has a issue of being viewed in Internet Explorer 7 and Above. the issue is that the page does not look centered and some of the menu options do not appear on the pages. The issue is within Internet Explorer and has to do with the Compatibility View function. Here is a page that explains Compatibility View:

    To view the VOD page properly, you will need to turn off Compatibility View. to do this, follow the directions below:

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Click the Tools Menu Option.
    3. Scroll down to the Compatibility View option and uncheck (turn off) the option.

    The Page will be viewed normally.

    You may have to turn compatibility view back on to view other web pages. just follow the above directions in reverse to turn the feature on.

    This feature is not present in Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Flock or other Mozilla Engine Browsers.

  • LRC Computer Lab Closings

    The LRC computer labs will be closed the following dates and times for the rest of February:

    February 14: 8:30 to 3
    February 16: 8:30 to 11
    February 18: 8:30 to 11
    February 19: 7:30 to 12:30
    February 21: 8:30 to 3
    February 24: 8:30 to 2:30
    February 25: 8:30 to 3
    February 28: 8:30 to 3

    Dates and times are subject to change during the closing period. below are the list of student computer labs that you are able to use during the closings:

    Architecture Rooms 319 & 324; Business Rooms 336 & 340; Engineering Room 256; Fine Arts Rooms 404, 411, 411A, 412 & 412A; The MAC & Central Library First Floors; Nedderman Hall Room 231; University Hall Rooms 004 & 005.

    You will need to have your id card with you as you may have to pay for printing in these locations

    We are sorry for the issues in your schedule that this may cause during the closings.

    Beginning October 29, 2010 a new Video on Demand web address and web page will be in use. The new web address and page will replace the current vod page and address.

    there is also a known issue with using the new vod page. there is a authentication issues using Internet Explorer (all versions), where you will not be able to log in with your current uta netid and password. below are web browsers that you can use to access the vod page:
