New Pre-Law Center at UTA

Did you know that UTA has a Pre-Law Center?

Located in University Hall, the Pre-Law Center’s advisors are committed to having frank and helpful discussions about the law market, the demands of law school, and students’ academic interests and talents. They advise students in every academic major–not only the traditional “Pre-Law” specializations in history, political science, criminal justice, and philosophy. They have information about careers related to the law that do not involve law school, such as legal research and writing, law enforcement, government service, and employment in public and private agencies. For more information visit www.uta.edu/prelaw.

Every semester the University College offers 45 minute Major Exploration Seminars to provide information on majors and minors at UTA and campus resources available to help you select a major.  This is a perfect opportunity to ask questions and listen to an advisor discuss major selection based on your personality, strengths, abilities and values.

Light refreshments will be available.

All seminars are held in Ransom Hall on either a Tuesday or Friday at noon. For a list of dates and to sign up online click, here.
