The Environmental Society will host its final meeting of the semester tomorrow, December 1, 2008 at 12:00pm in CH 101. All students, members and non-members alike, are invited to join us as we celebrate the conclusion of a phenomenal first semester for the Environmental Society!
On the agenda:
- -A presentation by John Darling, the campus composter largely responsible for leading a recycling program at UT Arlington that diverted more than 27 tons of waste from the city landfill
- -Discussion of the National Teach-in, an ENORMOUS event that will highlight the impacts of global climate change coming to UT Arlington on February 5, 2009
- -Opportunity to run for an officer position in Environmental Society next semester
Whether you’ve made it to a meeting before this semester or not, we hope you’ll all decide to take a break from your studies and join us on Monday. See you at noon!
