9:00-noon, 100 Nedderman Hall
Open to all
For a second year, Prof. Stacy Alaimo (co-chair of the University Sustainability Committee) has organized a nifty symposium that gives faculty and students from across the campus a chance to talk about promise, prospects, and pratfalls of courses and academic programs focusing on environment and sustainability. It’s a morning-long think tank on the foundations of the sustainability-oriented curricular development efforts that are manifesting at UT Arlington in various forms: the Environmental & Sustainability Studies minor, the Environmental Science major, the Interdisciplinary Studies MS in sustainability, etc.
March 23, 9:00-noon. Open to all.
