The Office Candy Jar

One of the benefits of being at UTA is that you can take advantage of the Office Candy jar!  All you have to do is stop in and give the office staff a quick ‘Hello!’  Here are two of our favorite visitors. (Perhaps they are also future Theatre Arts students?!)

USITT Adventure 2010

img_0483_editimg_0489_edit The USITT conference was an exciting adventure this year for many of our students who took the time to travel to Kansas City, MO. They had the opportunity to spend several days with fellow theatre technicians while also being immersed in their craft. Here are four of our students (Miguel, Max, Robert, and Jeremy) as they participated in events at the conference. When asked what they enjoyed the most, they were happy to share all about the demonstrations allowing them the opportunity to ‘fly’ like Peter Pan! They also showed off their skills in the tech Olympics. Making the most of their adventure, these four students traveled together, making stops on the road to visit Pops (a soda museum/restaurant), Wichita State University, Turner Falls, and the Toy & Action Figure Museum.
