The Collaborative Partnership

July 25, 2008 – 4:55 pm

The One-Stop source for finding research resources to solve problems, spur innovation, collaborate and pursue funding

U.T. Arlington would like to invite you to participate, use, and join the Collaborative Partnership.

The Collaborative Partnership is a common storefront for individuals throughout academia, industry and state/federal government(s) to build relationships in the pursuit of conducting research, taking advantage of commercialization opportunities and sponsored funding.

States, chambers of commerce, business incubators, and cities can build strategies to incorporate their own cluster initiatives and organize information for easy dissemination to the public and strengthen economic interests.

A New Model of Connectivity
The Partnership sets itself apart from other systems because it is NOT a central database. The Partnership connects live data from the source where the information resides without the actual transfer of data.

Using open source tools and simple data standards, The Collaborative Partnership can easily take new partners in without affecting their security, data, or business practices. It is a paradigm shift from the current collaboration model of a “top - down” approach to a model that is “bottom-up and lateral” for individuals to collaborate and speed the transfer of knowledge throughout the marketplace. Expertise, resources, and research information can be organized at the individual, University, University System, State and National levels as well as by geography.
