It is the start of a great year of learning, skill building, and generating new knowledge at UTA School of Social Work. This semester, we will be involved in professional development as social workers, learning and skill building in direct practice, and generating new knowledge about supporting educational attainment among student-veterans, finding out about the psychosocial effects of equine-assisted activities on children with health, cognitive, and family challenges, and validating an adolescent resiliency scale. I look forward to working with you and learning from you.
