Hi everyone. My name is Chris Lechtenberg and this is my blog. I am writing it as part of a research project I was involved in at UTA that was sponsored by the prestegious National Science Foundation. I worked on a project that looked at the effects of extreme wind loads from hurricanes and tornados on residential structures and what can be done to mitigate these effects. I was paired with two other students and we had a blast hanging out and working together. The program was diverse, educational, and relevant to my future goals.
