This won’t hit the 250 word mark, but I better write this down while I remember.

My current plan is to finish writing out a plot summary. Once a quick summary is written down, I will then figure out how many pages are needed to convey the whole story, and divide it out accordingly. After that, I’m debating on how to add graphics, whether to do simple sketches and scan them in, or to find images similar enough to what I am envisioning.

Once I am dissatisfied with what I have accomplished, I will rework the story to add more of the time theme. As I was told, I need to make it more noticeable and something that easily stands out. Perhaps I should change it? That might not be too bad, as I am still in the plotting stages.

Perhaps the denizens are immortal, but what if it was but a trap? And the pirates have now entered into alternate realities?? Oh wait that’s nothing about time…
But wait, what if rather than entering alternate realities, they are trapped within one person’s memories of regret?
The courageous pirates are thrust into the protagonist’s past, where his biggest regret was not being able to save his loved one’s life because of his cowardice.

They will watch everything unfold once, taking part as random passersby (passerby as a plural?), and suddenly everything rewinds, and they are playing through once more, but this time they attempt to change it.

Now that I think about it, it’s similar to that recent movie, source code. Except I have yet to watch that movie..
The story unfolds as events repeat itself, and they attempt to figure out why they are stuck in a loop. They will also see themselves, and wonder whether the other them are real or merely tricks.

Or so I would like to believe…
As promised, this post is dedicated to brainstorming of the final project. Except I’m too lazy to fully transcribe my conversations with my friend, so I’ll just show what I’ve thought of.

The idea of AR, or augmented reality, is quite amazing in my world. Knowing that there exists a layer of virtual data on top of current physical locations intrigues me. The possibilities of it are endless, however I believe it’s going to take quite a bit of effort to make it work out as well as we wish for.

Upon reflection, I just realized that I could have had some “assistance” on the test from yesterday…

The beginning is but the beginning. It doesn’t need to do much, except set the scene, the characters, and perhaps even a hint at the plot of the whole book. Not much unless one incorporates zombies.

So it’s Sunday night, and I finally had a chance to bowl, and record myself doing it as my video clip. The ball rolling down the lane, and the crash into the pins would make great audio, and the camera angle would be fun to play with too! Too bad none of my friends showed up as it was already late, so I had to do this solo…

that I am currently unable to figure out how to work this confounded iPad to work with word press!  I am probably going to dream of kicking this device and then tossing it like a Frisbee.

On another note, I have yet to figure out how to update things. My theme says there’s a newer version out, and yet I have no clue as to how to update it!

Unfortunately, I am neither Spanish nor Japanese.  However, I sure do enjoy mixing things together!  Onwards to the serious stuff.

This six word autobiography is killing me.  I could easily describe how spectacularly awesome I am, however to condense it into six words?  That’s like asking me to list everything that makes me so great in the first place.  The amount of words would put Homer and his oral telling of the Odyssey to shame!  However, I’ve been trying to use the iPad, and the Popplet app is pretty enjoyable.  It allows me to just make bubbles with lines to connect everything together.  What I’ve just learned though, is that it is terrible at exporting the graph out, so I will need to figure out what to do about that later.

Six words to make a sentence.  The good news, is that it’s not just simple random words to show off one’s traits.  This forces us to really focus on the semantics of each word.  Why use ____ vs _____?  Also, as this is to be done in iWeb, that adds not just text, but various images and layouts to help.  I think this aspect will have more impact than initially thought.  I need to figure out color choices, like the feelings that are conveyed from a black background as opposed to a sky blue color.  I’m a pretty multifaceted person, with tons of personas that you wouldn’t normally see until I’m thrown into various situations.  Because of this idea, perhaps I should add some fallen masks on the ground.  The question would be then, “should it be incorporated into the background and seen on every page? Or should I use it as an image just thrown in?”

How would I tie the images and clips to the few words that I’m allowed to use?  I love food, so perhaps I could use a few clips of cooking or a few snapshots of my creations as part of the website layout.  However, how could I tie that into the six few words?  Or should I leave it as a completely unrelated element and just use the justification of “I’m random. That’s random.  It works out.” ?  I’ll figure this out sooner or later…
