Spring 2014

Hopefully, Texas has had it’s last freeze threat. I have lots of little plants that i germinated seeds and put into pots, that I want to transplant into the ground soon. Kale, Onions, Beets, Marigolds, etc. I have homemade compost that might or might not be ready in a few weeks.
Strawberries are turning red, almost ready to eat!

The spa is almost ready to be moved into my backyard.

Family garage sale will be soon and I have things ready to sale, sale sale!

New projects

Spring is about growing. I have a garden and I am also installing a spa in the backyard!

March 24, 2014

Been in a major slump in soccer, losing badly in most of my outdoor games. Getting banged up on top of it is starting to add up quickly.
Yearly physical went off without any hitches, except a bruise where they drew blood and tenderness from my Tetanus Booster shot in the arm.

March 2013

Just some updates:
Lots of soccer. Playing outdoor full field 4 times a week.
Doing a garden in the backyard.
Work has a project deadline that is causing work to be super busy!
It’s go, go, go time!

Work is so busy

Work has been so busy!
Working in my new position as a UTShare person working with the UT System for all of the University of Texas universities has been quite a challenge.
Communication and troubleshooting have been key in my job responsibilities. Not a day goes by that I do not surprise myself with my accomplishments.

Jan 2014

I got married Nov 17th, 2013. We went to Disney World in Florida for Honeymoon. Stayed in Animal Kingdom with a Savanna view suite. We averaged about 10 miles of walking each day.
New Soccer season starts in Feb 2014. I am playing on two outdoor full field teams. Monday nights COED Over 30. Friday Over 30 Men’s.

Dec 2013

I am Married

October 2013

Just returned from a trip to Colorado.
The outdoor soccer fields were being seeded, so I did not miss any games, woot!

End of July, 2013

The end of July 2013 brings lots of winning in outdoor soccer. In second place in Men’s over 30 and Open Coed. Weather has been to the extremes, with rain, heat, humidity, low light, bright lights, mosquitos, bugs and other oddities.

June 2013 – Gone

Well, June 2013 has passed. In Outdoor soccer – Friday night I played my old team which was also in First Place. We beat them 2-1. Their only goal was basically an “Own Goal” I lost in the sun from a high corner kick. The 7pm-8:30 games are getting interesting with the sun and high temperatures. It was 106 Friday night!
Monday outdoor COED games are going great. I had another clean sheet shutout victory. I have only allowed one girl goal. A great goal differential coming along out there!
4th of July this year – Going to Eagle Mountain Lake. To enjoy great friends with lake access, a swimming pool and of course, fireworks!
Be safe, have fun!
