The Remixing of Yo Culture
Does the remix “work”? is it effective at bringing new features (or previously unappreciated features) to light in the text?
I personally think the remix does definitely work, it reaches out to a different crowd and adds a darker humor as apposed to the movie’s romantic humor! It is successful at that, but i would not say that it is effective in bringing out unappreciated features from the movie. It sure does bring in its own different things for example, the thing to be proud of was to be well established in martial arts in the zombie book as apposed to being able to play the piano and other more appropriate things for that time in the movie. It is essentially the same story told in a different manner.
