Robber Jesse James continues old age Family tradition

 

A robbery occurred nearly 100 years ago at First Fidelity Bank by the famous Jesse James and his brother Frank.

On Monday a man named Jesse James robbed First Fidelity Bank. A passing policeman apprehended him as he backed out the door with $20,000.

 “Jesse James was my great-great uncle,” said James. “I was just trying to finish the job he started.”

Two people are dead and several have injuries

Two people died and 52 are injured in GMX plant explosion  Monday around 10 a.m. in Arlington, according to Arlington fire officials.

James Frankel, 32, and Hector Fuentes, 45, were found dead by the first responders. Leia Skywalker, 33, and James T. Kirk, 30, have been moved to the burn center rehabilitation area however, Scott McCoy, 25, is still in critical condition in the burn center. All injured employees but these three were released on the same day from the hospital.

“Kirk and Skywalker will have a long recovery period that will be painful at times,” said Burn specialist Pierce Brosnan.

The explosion occurred in the main assembly part of the plant. “A lit bottle filled with gasoline referred often to “Molotov cocktail” was placed into a 300-gallon gasoline tank,” said Fire Inspector Colin Ferrel.

The police are seeking two young white males seen in the area of the GMX plant Monday around the time of the explosion.

Neena Voltare, public relations director for GMX, spoke in a press conference. Voltare said the damage of the explosion affected about 25,000 square feet, and the costs of repairs are estimated at $2 million, according to Arlington fire official.

GMX plans to finish the repairs in September. Production will still be under way and the prices will continue to remain the same. All employees will be compensated regardless if they choose to stay or relocate with the company.
