Last week I attended a Tattoo convention. There were a lot of crazy people. But the most shocking thing for me was human suspension. They pierce some part of body with hooks and hang you. Really? Why would somebody do that? I spend there all day and saw three people get hung. Some people couldn’t even watch that. What is the reason to do that. I understand when somebody wants to try something different or something crazy, but that hurts! And leaves scars. You can just go to Six flags. So when I was watching these people who were hanging themselves and actually paid for that $50 I realized that all of them had one thing in common. Low self esteem. I don’t need to talk to people to see that. It was obvious. Everybody was watching them with opened mouth and taking pictures and videos. I guess they could feel like a star for ten minutes and be center of attention. There was a guy who totally lost it up there and started to do crazy stuff. Of course it ended up by ripping the hooks out and falling on the floor. There was a lot of blood. But then he stood up and did a silly gesture like yes I did it, I am a King. He was shaking and he had to go to hospital to get stitches. He said he will come back and do it again. Hmm, okay and why? So you can be a center of attention once again? Because I don’t believe that it is that satisfying.
