Death of the Jackass star

Everybody is talking about the death of a Jackass star Ryan Dunn. He died in a car accident on Monday. His friend died the next day. According to police he was drunk and he was speeding up to 140 mph. The paradox is that somebody who does such dangerous and crazy stuff like Dunn, then dies in a car accident. I heard some please say that they hope he was at least speeding and had hiss out of the window while driving because a guy like that can’t just die a normal way. Another paradox is that his friend Zachary Hartwell who was with him in the car worked as a stunt car diver. And he died in a car accident! Let them rest in peace.

Human Suspension

Last week I attended a Tattoo convention. There were a lot of crazy people. But the most shocking thing for me was human suspension. They pierce some part of body with hooks and hang you. Really? Why would somebody do that? I spend there all day and saw three people get hung. Some people couldn’t even watch that. What is the reason to do that. I understand when somebody wants to try something different or something crazy, but that hurts! And leaves scars. You can just go to Six flags. So when I was watching these people who were hanging themselves and actually paid for that $50 I realized that all of them had one thing in common. Low self esteem. I don’t need to talk to people to see that. It was obvious. Everybody was watching them with opened mouth and taking pictures and videos. I guess they could feel like a star for ten minutes and be center of attention. There was a guy who totally lost it up there and started to do crazy stuff. Of course it ended up by ripping the hooks out and falling on the floor. There was a lot of blood. But then he stood up and did a silly gesture like yes I did it, I am a King. He was shaking and he had to go to hospital to get stitches. He said he will come back and do it again. Hmm, okay and why? So you can be a center of attention once again? Because I don’t believe that it is that satisfying.

Reality shows

I am from Europe and went home for three weeks before the summer school started. I don’t watch TV at home at all. I just have better stuff to do. Here in the US I am kind of bored so I turn on the TV from time to me. And it always surprise me how many stupid shows are on. Especially the reality shows. I found them extremely stupid and waste of time to watch them. All of them. I just don’t get why would people watch it. And if they watch them, how can they like them? Why?You don’t have your own life if you have to watch a bunch of stupid teenagers getting pregnant, wasted or arrested? And even more surprising for me is that people actually consider these people as celebrities.
