The Twilight Zone: The Shelter
I chose a clip from the Twilight Zone to represent my artistic response to war. This episode is called “The Shelter”, and in this episode the concept of war is very well captures. A family invites their neighbors for dinner when suddenly the are informed of a bomb threat. What Is shown in this clip helps us see what people during the World War II had to worry about such as the life of themselves and their families as well. The one family who brings over the other three families gets prepared for the possible bomb, knowing there is only enough room for three people, the husband refuses to let any of the others in. As a result they all panic and try to break in at the same time losing friendships and order. War is something serious and it shows us that not only troops have to protect us, but we have to protect our families as well.
