Painting forever?

It all began my senior year in high school, they were redoing the basketball court and were just going to throw everything away. With the help of some guys in my class we found and brought back a couple pieces of the floor, this one was the largest.

Talking walls

        Dallas, if you haven’t noticed has huge and rather impressive murals on multiple buildings. Suprizingly as diverse as they are, the large majority of them were painted by the same two artists. Chris Arnold and Jeff Garrison.

The Basics

Painting.

Little is required to accomplish it, as grade school children we are told to do it and as adults we contemplate the meanings behind it. I find painting a  form of expression as do most but instead of the usual thin line i choose to make a globby path on foreign objects to tell an even deeper story, to root myself further into a piece….and well I’m weird. The 411

I’m a senior with a major in Journalism. When I grow up I want to be a travel journalist for Con de Nast Traveler magazine or National Geographic…having my own Discovery Channel show would be nice. I like candle lit dinners, the comfort of reading a good book on sunday afternoon in a warm bubble bath while enjoying imported French chocolate truffles and spending the day grooming my seven show cats; Mr. Tiger, Mr. Taffy, Miss Prissy, Sebastian, (more…)
