Digital Research Methods Workshops

Welcome everybody to the Summer I Digital Research Methods Workshop. These workshops consist of nine mandatory two-hour accreditation proseminars for graduate students offered in both the fall and winter terms by eCreate Lab staff. These workshops will train students how to use library and computing resources, and teach them the rudimentary digital skills required for graduate work, undergraduate teaching and beyond. If advanced computing skills are demonstrable, permission may be granted to pursue independent studies on one or some of the additional topics. Marked on a pass/fail scale, successful completion of the program will appear on graduate transcripts as part of UTA English and Humanities’ students’ professionalization. Faculty, adjuncts, instructors and graduate students may also attend single workshops if space is available. All workshops are free.

Attendance at all workshops is mandatory for credit.
