Thesis Proposal

Okay folks,

What you will need to turn in by no later than Tuesday March 22, 2011, is a typed, double-spaced paper that does two things:

  1. Presents a clear, specific, arguable, and significant claim that makes use of the because statement we talked about in class.
  2. Gives me some sense of the audience you are addressing your paper toward. Remember, this can be a single person (e.g., Rick Perry), a group or organization (PETA, Congress, etc.), or readers of a specific journal (perhaps one of the journals in which you found an article).

Like always, if you have any questions about this or any other assignment, please email me as soon as possible.

Reminder

The due date for the Exploratory Essay has been pushed back till Thursday March 3, 2011.

Reminder

Just as a reminder, we will NOT be meeting in the library for tomorrow’s class. Since we missed that day, we will not be able to make up the library session. This means we will be meeting in our regular classroom and following the changes to the syllabus I’ve since had to make.

-Mr. Gale
