This specific idea originally came from Third Way, but I found it through the Economist site although apparently the table graphic was copied incorrectly somehow and we should use the updated Third Way document for our discussion. It’s a great idea for anyone who appreciates data to support their ideas and it’s also good support material for our upcoming class discussion of Balance of Payments (Chapter 5).
The Australian dollar (AUD) is doing quite well recently – here’s an article that helps explain why. Sounds like a good class discussion for this next week…
