The feelings we are attempting to elicit are the feelings of excitement, memories of good times past and euphoria. In our design we chose colors that are soothing to the eyes, and relaxing to the brain. Using the group Journey from the past lends to the excitement we are expecting to receive from our target audience. Our target demographics are ages ranging from early twenties to late forties. We were influenced by the sounds, genre, and styles from the late 70’s to the 80’s. Our colors and fonts were chosen from previous album covers and styles. Were were trying to be soft, quiet, subtle and organized, the color blue is a soft and mellow color, the scene is at night which general is a quiet time. The subtle flowing of the wings of our scarab and the softening glow leads toward our subtleness of the design. The crisp placement of all text in the design show signs of organization.
