UTA Speech Sounds Lab

About the lab

The UTA Speech Sounds Lab is directed by Dr. Ivy Hauser and Dr. Cynthia Kilpatrick. The lab houses equipment for perception and production studies, including a sound-attenuated booth. We have regular lab meetings which are open to all members of the Department of Linguistics & TESOL.

We are happy to provide undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to work in the lab. Students should contact Dr. Hauser if they are interested in conducting independent research or working as a research assistant.
