In December of 2018, Microsoft approached the Office of Information Technology about using UTA; as the first case study in North America for the use of Teams in higher education.
Flash forward to April of 2019, a film crew from Microsoft and several members of UTA’s faculty and staff met at the SEIR building on campus to begin filming, after weeks of planning. After four days of interviews and dodging rain storms the footage was collected and the video editing process began.
