On October 7, Apple released the new macOS “Catalina”. Please do not upgrade any UTA-owned MAC devices to this new version until the Office of Information Technology completes its compatibility testing with all our enterprise applications and software.

Based on our current testing results, macOS Catalina is not compatible with the standard list of software and self-service applications. Therefore, we are working with our vendors as they upgrade their software to support the new OS before we upgrade our university-owed devices to Catalina. We will contact you when more information is available.

If you have already installed this version to your UTA-owned device, please contact the IT Help Desk by calling 817-272-2208 or submitting a self-service ticket.
