Pre-Join Options for Teams

Teams users will soon be able to choose their audio and video settings before joining a meeting.  These new “pre-join” options will allow users to turn their cameras on or off, as well as set a virtual background before joining the meeting.  Mic and speaker settings can also be managed from this same dialog. 

Users in a Teams conference room can choose to use the room’s audio equipment instead of their computer audio before starting the meeting.  This option will help ensure a seamless meeting and reduce the possibility of audio feedback.
