Meeting organizers will soon enjoy additional control over lobby settings in Teams.

Users who have been directly invited to the meeting with a Calendar invite can bypass the lobby and join the meeting directly.  Those who found the meeting through a forwarded invitation will be sent to the lobby and meeting organizers may choose to admit them to the meeting.

Once this feature is available, meeting organizes can change the meeting option “Who can bypass the lobby?” to the choice “People I invite” and those with a Calendar invite can skip the lobby and join the meeting right away.
