Dynamic View automatically arranges camera feeds and shared content and also allows you to customize your view and engage with your colleagues during meetings.

This automatic arrangement is tailored to your monitor size and is powered by AI that dynamically adjusts the layout of shared content, participants’ camera feeds, and other meeting elements.

Here are some of the exciting features available in Dynamic View:

  • Shared content will display in a larger view alongside views of participants who are sharing their video.
  • Spotlight allows you to pin specific participants to make their video feeds appear larger.
  • The Participant Gallery will be docked to the right by default but it can be moved to the top of the screen to free up additional space for viewing shared content.
  • Participants who have joined with audio only will display as smaller circles, separate from those who have joined with video enabled.
  • New Presenter Modes are available for sharing content:  Standout Presenter Mode, Side by Side Presenter Mode, and Reporter Mode.

A companion feature known as View Switcher is coming at a later date and will allow you to control how you see shared content and participants during a meeting.

You can use View Switcher to choose any of the following options:

  • Gallery Mode – See up to 9 participants’ video feeds
  • Large Gallery Mode – See up to 49 participants’ camera feeds
  • Together Mode – See participants in a virtual auditorium (the number of visible participants depends upon the scene selected)
  • Gallery at Top – Option to pin all camera feeds to the top of the meeting window to have more natural eye contact with participants (default behavior is Gallery at Right)
  • Focus Mode – Hide all camera feeds and focus only on shared content
  • Full Screen Mode – maximize the meeting window to eliminate distractions from other applications

View Switcher will be located in the top bar of a Teams meeting and indicated by a grid icon:
