Did you know OIT can support you before and during your virtual or in-person event?  This article details the event-related services we provide and recommend.

Technical Support

  • Connect additional devices to the UTA Network

    NOTE: Non-approved and older network hubs, network switches or other networking equipment could cause network issues and may not work on our new environment. Please contact us for support.

  • Set up and configure Teams meetings
  • Loan equipment such as projectors and laptops
  • Provide in-person assistance at your event to address any issues that may arise

UTA Guest WiFI

Guests can connect to UTA Guest and no special requests or login credentials are needed.

UTA Computer or Resource Access

Event Parking

Make parking arrangements with UTA Parking & Transportation Services if you invited guests from outside UTA.

Event Space

  • Use Ad Astra to reserve UTA Classrooms.
  • Use an Outlook calendar or a departmental calendar to reserve conference rooms and coordinate with the department who owns the space.
  • Use Room Availability to reserve rooms in the UC, Commons, and Library.
  • Use One Easy Choice to reserve Texas Hall and College Park Center.

Catering

  • Every event is better with Maverick Catering!
  • Contact the group who approved your reservation to verify the requirements of the event space before arranging for catering.
