Adjust Your Focus & Brightness in Teams Meetings

“Soft Focus” & “Adjust Brightness” Now Video Filters

Microsoft Teams users will soon be able to adjust their video focus and brightness in meetings. “Soft Focus” applies a smoothing effect to appearance, and “Adjust Brightness” enhances the video quality when lighting is poor.

Both filters will be accessed in the meeting’s Device Settings panel, as well as Settings > Devices > Camera panel. These features are turned off by default. Users should allow access to *.teams.microsoft.com for both of these features to work. This update is expected by the end of June.
